WIP Update – 25 Feb 18
Well, I decided that taking the subtle approach wasn’t going to get me where I needed to be, so I wiped the entire outline of Tellus clean and started over from scratch to put the story back together in a way that’s more cohesive and streamlined narratively. I didn’t go quite as far when getting TBP ready for prime time, but there was a similar spirit that required me apply the last 15 years of experience to taming the overeagerness of my 16-year-old self. Quite a few subplots and extraneous characters were cut, but a lot of that material will find new life in the sequel of sorts, The Wandering Warriors.
Although it’s TG’s turn, the need to get more content written for Tellus is greater, so that’s what I’m going to be working on this week. If I can at least finish two or three chapters, that’d be nice. Stay tuned.
