I knew I had gotten behind on archiving chats in DA and it turns out that I haven’t done any such archiving since I got back to Japan. If you’ve been following my running commentary here, you know that covers quite a few large events that I’ve run. Anyway, that was the greater part of my progress–if you could call it that–Tuesday.

It doesn’t have a direct connection, but I also did a little more piddling around in KyaraPu, trying out a scenario where your punk-style tsundere girlfriend is on the verge of breaking up with you. In just a few exchanges, it turned out she wasn’t all that keen on the whole breaking up bit and was wanting to give it a fresh go. She was even rather forthright about the stuff that’d been upsetting her lately, none of this “Well, if you don’t know, I’m not going to tell you” nonsense. The real deal isn’t nearly as easy, but that’s thankfully not been something I’ve had to worry about in a good long while. Similar to the other scenarios I’ve fiddled with, it was interesting to see just how quickly things turn around. I need to see if I find a scenario with a higher difficulty level, but I don’t think that’s what these stories are designed for.

Wednesday didn’t look like it was going to be all that productive at much. I debuted Lise, but it wasn’t until an opening between two bouts of sleeping where I started writing some dialog for and idea I had for a gaiden centered around Doc Adams, giving her a book of her own where she’s the central focus rather than just relegating her to bit parts here and there.

Tomorrow is the first day of bunkasai. I’d like to say that means time for me to get stuff accomplished, but I have no idea how it’ll go. Stay tuned.
