I finished up Cronos’ epilogue and pretty well resolved Daphne’s Chapter 3. TTWC1 updates are squared away up until December. I imagine I’ll spend another day or two trying to build my buffer up a little further and then switch back to Tico3 to try to get ahead there.
After the update, I plan on doing a postmortem commentary on the character of Duke Cronos. Stay tuned.

I continued to make progress on Cronos’ epilogue, but fell short of finishing it. As much as I’d like to keep pushing it, I really need to switch gears to Tico3 if I want the next chapter to get out on time.

I made a little progress on Cronos’ epilogue, but mostly I was working in the peripheral materials, bulking up the backstory of Sir Caligo. I may work on TTWC1 one more day and then switch over to Tico3. That’s the plan, at least.

I kept going and made some good progress into Cronos’ epilogue. This gives me a decent headstart on the work to come. I may continue and try to wrap it up today so I’ll have some breathing room on the TTWC1 front. Once it’s done, I’ll have a buffer up to Daphne’s Chapter 3, which just needs some work on the end sequence. Maybe I’ll continue to stay ahead of the game and maybe I’ll use that time to play with some other projects. Although I’m focusing on Tico3 and TTWC1 right now, I do technically have two other stories in serialization right now and it might be nice to add a chapter or two to them. Stay tuned.

I got Cronos’ Chapter 5 done and wrote a little of the dialog for his epilogue. It’s not a very long chapter, but the more bite-sized chapters is really more of my intention for this series. I mean, the chapter will be as long as it needs to be, but I like the idea of a collection of little snapshots that you have to put together to see the whole picture. We’ll see if I continue my work on the epilogue or switch over to Tico3 right away. Stay tuned.

This post is rather late, but I come bearing glad tidings. I made more progress on Cronos’ Chapter 5 and should finish things up today. I might actually be on my way to building up a buffer again, but I’d best not speak too soon. We’ll see.

I actually made some decent progress on Cronos’ Chapter 5, much to my surprise. At this rate, the chapter will be out on time next week. Let’s see if I can pull it off. Stay tuned.

I put the finishing touches on Cronos’ Chapter 4 and got started on Chapter 5. I’ll no doubt be switching gears back to Tico3, though.
Yeah, not much else to say. Maybe I’ll cook up a commentary post.

If I nix the battle scene, I’ve mostly gotten the chapter finished. I did say something about tossing poor Cronos a bone, but, honestly, I’m liking the tone of the chapter as it is. I don’t think the battle scene would really add that much. You might see the battle in question from the other side in the third book.
I tell ya, the battle scene you really want to see happens in Babophos. It doesn’t fit into the main narrative (mostly because I just thought of it a few days ago), but I may well write up a little short just to portray it. There are actually a lot of events that got cut when I streamlined and normalized the story structure, which is fertile ground for a series of one-shots.
Anyway, I think I’ll just wrap up the chapter today and have it out tomorrow. Stay tuned.

Continued to make good progress on Cronos’ Chapter 4. If I nix the battle scene, then I’m almost done. However, having billed the guy as the Genius of the Nanoi Campaigns, I really feel I should toss him a bone. Yes, it gets lampshaded in-universe before (and also in this chapter), but with Cronos getting outmaneuvered time and time again, his reputation doesn’t hold much water, I fear. Admittedly, the Nanoi Campaigns were horribly mismanaged from the other side (and this is a plot point in Garm’s section in the third book), but I like to believe there was some special talent that earned Cronos his acclaim. However, the rebels do have a lot going for them. It’s rather cruel, really.
Anyway, we’ll see how things go. Stay tuned.
