I made a little more progress on Xenomachos’ Chapter 5 of TTWC1 and wrote a bit on the epilogue of Tico4. Yes, you heard me right. The epilogue. There have been some recent events that inspired part of the wind-down and I wanted to get it written down before I forgot. Something I haven’t mentioned yet is that I’ve been doing work in the Tellus Arc peripheral materials all week, primarily updating some of my older genealogies to include information like dates of marriage. It’s been a long time since I last touched the family trees of the Eight Stars and I may be going back in to do some name changes to better reflect ethnic continuity among the characters. Originally I just named characters based on the meaning of the name but since I’ve further developed the analogues to Earth cultures, I should be a little more consistent. Anyway, that should do it for now. Stay tuned.

Yes, I realize this post is late. If I’d done any writing yesterday, I could’ve just rolled it all into one, but instead I spent most of the day playing FE8. Anyway, Friday I made some progress on Chapter 9 of Tico4. Might make a little more such progress before switching over to TTWC1 to hopefully finish out the remaining chapters for Xenomachos. Stay tuned.

I’ve pretty well finished Chapter 4 of Tico4 at long last and have gotten started on Chapter 9. I don’t expect to finish it before the weekend’s out, but I guess you never know. Stay tuned.

I worked a little on the remaining section of Chapter 4 of Tico4 I need to finish to be done with the chapter. Originally I wasn’t going to have any dialog, but the way things are laid out, I was going to have three such sections in a row and that’s a little much. That’s not to say I can’t carry a scene without dialog but things tend to move quicker with dialog showing rather than narrative telling. Just a little but further now. Stay tuned.

I pretty well wrapped up Chapter 5 of Tico4. I don’t have much left for Chapter 4. Just one section I need to wrap up. Thanks to my working ahead earlier, I’ll be able to jump all the way down to Chapter 9 if I stay in sequence. Stay tuned.

I’ve been a little preoccupied with other stuff over the past several days, but I’m back in action now, having made progress on Chapters 4 and 5 of Tico4. I’m almost done with both of them and will be able to move on soon, I hope.

I made good progress on Chapter 4 of Tico4 and did a little work on Chapter 5 as well. As you’ve heard me gripe many a time before, Chapter 4 is a monster, but I stand to have it mostly done before the week is out. That’ll certainly be a relief. Stay tuned.

I continue to trudge along in Chapter 4 of Tico4. Previously I’d stated concern about having two sections of internal narrative in a chapter largely driven by dialog, particularly having them side by side as a consequence of how things are set up. However, the more I work on said sections, the more I see that they’re different enough in tone and content that it shouldn’t be a problem and being situated in the middle should make for a sort of reflective intermission. We’ll see how it looks when it’s finished. Stay tuned.

A little more progress on Chapter 4 of Tico4. Because I didn’t make much headway last week, I may stick with it a bit longer before switching over to TTWC1. We’ll see. Stay tuned.

I made a little progress on Chapter 4 of Tico4, mostly finishing the dialog of one section. Seven more to go. I think I’ve come up with a good solution for the problem the chapter poses, but we’ll see how it fares when I’m done.
In other news, with the epilogue of Tico3 set to come out in two weeks, I need to think about doing a full pass through the book and prepping all the appendices. Whee fun. Stay tuned.
