What little time I was focused on the story Thursday was mostly devoted to recalculating the vital statistics of the Ral’gha. I decided that by having them mostly human-sized, they were too small, but if I made them the same size as their animal counterparts, they’d be too big, so I went for something in the middle. After all, if a Catman is nearly as big as an Ogre, you have to wonder how humans can successfully enslave them. (It wouldn’t be impossible, but it’d be harder to sell.)

Anyway, on to actual writing. I’m still on Chapter 14 of Tellus, but I’ve finally gotten through the action setpiece that’s been holding things up so long. Now I just have to finish it out and move on. I’m thinking of making a point of blocking off some time during the break next week to ensure I get writing done, hopefully getting back on quota. Stay tuned.

Oh, hey. I didn’t fall off the face of the Earth after all. No, I haven’t been doing much writing lately. Goofing off as usual. I did, however, manage to buckle down a bit (not having my smartphone with me at work helps a lot) and made some progress on Chapter 14 of Tellus. I do need to build up my buffer or I’m going to get overtaken. I’ve got the rest of the week and all next week off, but we all know that free time rarely equates to productivity with me. We’ll see what I can get done, though. Stay tuned.

I made some decent progress in Chapter 14 of Tellus. Once I get through the current action sequence, I’ll pretty much be done. Action choreography always tends to be fairly time-intensive. Well, if I keep it up, I should finish the chapter and after that, hopefully I can make some headway on Chapter 15 before it’s time to switch again. Stay tuned.

All I got done on Saturday was catch up on my transcriptions, so no progress to note there. I had a good opportunity to make some headway Sunday, but I mostly frittered away my free time and only made some minor edits to Chapter 9 of CeleKing3 as I was planning to start there and close up the current gaps in the narrative between Chapters 9 and 12.

I decided to go ahead and switch over to Tellus after that, but I was too tired to get much writing done and I couldn’t rightly remember where I left off in Chapter 14 anyway, but when I did pick it back up, I wrote a little bit, not really enough to warrant mention, but I’m mentioning it anyway as it beats having any larger of a gap in these updates.

Maybe I can turn it around, but don’t hold your breath. You’ve heard this song and dance from me before. We’ll see what happens, though. Stay tuned.

On the train ride back I managed to write a little on Chapter 14 of Tellus. Now that I’m going back to the daily grind, I’ll be switching over to CeleKing3 like I’d intended to do last week. Stay tuned.

After updating the site, I was flipping through my manuscript and ended up working a little on Chapter 31 of Tellus. I realize that’s well ahead of where I’m currently at, but I already had some of the dialog written, so I added to it.

While I haven’t gotten much story writing done, I have done quite a few reviews, for whatever that’s worth. It’s one thing to pass the time. Hopefully I can get things stabilized once I settle back in. Stay tuned.

I doesn’t count for much, but I’ve managed to do just enough writing to put the finishing touched on Chapter 11 of Tellus. It’s better than nothing and it’s a wonder I’ve even gotten that far. We’ll see what more I can accomplish. Stay tuned.

I made more headway in Chapter 14 of Tellus and later on went back and made some progress on Chapter 11 after catching up on my transcriptions. My travel plans went awry, which is what has thrown everything into chaos. Things are getting sorted out and the situation may stabilize soon. In theory, I should be switching over to CeleKing3, but I honestly may not get much writing done until I return. Stay tuned.

I managed to finish Chapter 13 of Tellus and start in on Chapter 14. Things are moving along well enough. We’ll see how much writing I get done in the airport, but that’s still a ways off yet. More to come. Stay tuned.
