As you saw, I finished Chapter 21 of NagaTen for the update and added a little bit to Chapter 22. I need to switch over to EM3, so we’ll see if I can get the next update ready in time. Stay tuned.

I finally managed to finish Chapter 15 of TWH, as you’ve probably noticed, and while I was trying to get back into the groove for the next story writing cycles, I did some minor edits in EM3 and started in on Chapter 22 of NagaTen (as I had an idea in my head I wanted to get onto the page). I’ll be trying to finish Chapter 21 of NagaTen before the weekend now. It’ll involve breaking through a long-standing bit of writer’s block. Wish me luck. Stay tuned.

I had a lot of stuff vying for my attention, what with my time on the clock running out and all. I barely made any progress two weeks ago working on Chapter 19 of NagaTen. I started to build up some momentum last week, only to stall out when I found that my originally intended direction for the chapter didn’t make much sense in practice. This left me with no idea of how to resolve the situation. Perhaps if my attention wasn’t going a dozen different directions at once, I may have figured it out. Contrary to expectations, things haven’t settled down as I thought they would, so we’ll see what comes of EM3, though I still have a fair bit of buffer left there. We’ll see what happens from here. Stay tuned.

I’ve totally dropped the ball on these updates. Remember back when I did this on a daily basis? Maybe I need to get back into that habit. Anyway, looking back on the previous month, I did some work on Chapter 19 of NagaTen and finished Chapter 12 of TWH. I also did more work on the scenario of that DnD campaign I’ve been talking about (which, by the by, we didn’t even finish the character creation phase).

From the time this entry cuts off to present, I haven’t done any story writing. Whatever time I’ve had on my computer, I’ve mostly spent on compiling a 5e rulebook from available online sources. You can decide if this is a worthwhile use of my time or not (especially if my nieces decide the whole DnD thing is too boring to continue), but I would point out that this research will help me refine the game system of the WttW series, and it’ll play directly into both Dimwald and the GM and my potential project with the scenario I’ve been writing for the campaign.

Anyway, I’ll be getting back into the saddle with NagaTen this week. I’d like to at least finish Chapter 19. Stay tuned.

I finished Chapter 17 of NagaTen (so that’ll be ready to go next cycle), did a little work on Chapter 12 of TWH, then spent most of my time penning that DnD scenario I’ve been working on. Now, doing all this for my niece is reason enough, but as I’ve hinted before that this may serve a dual purpose and you may see it in the future in a fun little project I’m considering. I need to make some headway in EM3 now. Stay tuned.

I didn’t get much writing done. Surprise, surprise, I know. I finished Chapter 15 of NagaTen and filled in some bits of Chapter 21. I wanted to finish Chapter 17 as well, and I may end up doing that, but I also need to turn my attention to EM3. Stay tuned.

I wrote Chapter 18 of NagaTen and started on Chapter 21. Why the gap? Well, I didn’t cross-reference with the outline and so what I thought was the immediate next chapter was actually further down the line than I expected. Anyway, I need to switch over to EM3. Fun to follow. Stay tuned.

I worked on Chapter 15 of NagaTen, but my progress isn’t much to write home about. Once again, I find myself wanting to finish what I started but needing to move on. It’s EM3’s turn now and we’ll see if I can’t make more headway so I can go back and make up for the past couple weeks. Stay tuned.

I finished Chapter 13 of NagaTen and followed it with Chapter 14 and a good chunk of Chapter 17. I’ll get back to EM3 and maybe I’ll get a headstart on next week’s work on TWH. Stay tuned.

I finished Chapter 12 of NagaTen and added a little bit to Chapter 13. I then wrote Chapter 6 of EM3 and worked on what I’m tentatively placing at Chapter 13. I need to focus on TWH. I’ve got a fair bit of time off, which will probably hurt more than it helps, but I’ve got to at least finish Chapter 7. Stay tuned.
