WIP Update – 03 Jun 19

I’ve finally finished Chapter 32 of Tellus. I kinda had to force it to end as it’s a rather long chapter. Part of me would like to let it sit longer before putting it up, but I’ll go ahead and get it out there. I think I’ll go ahead and get Chapter 33 done before moving on to anything else. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 01-02 Jun 19

I managed to more than make up for not doing a lick of writing Thursday and Friday, but even though that progress looks good from a wordcount standpoint, I’m still not done with the daggone chapter (that is, Chapter 32 of Tellus for those of you not keeping score). I’ve got one more day to get it done, then I need to be moving on before I fall behind in JJ2 as well. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 28-29 May 19

Tuesday was absolutely miserable as far as progress was concerned. In theory, I might’ve barreled through to the end of the chapter to rush it out the door, but I only wrote a couple of lines or so. I did more respectable work yesterday, moving things along in Chapter 32 of Tellus, but the end still isn’t in sight yet.

My plan is to post Chapter 32 next week and then Chapter 33 the week after that so I don’t have to alter the schedule any further. I just need to make the necessary progress. We’ll see what I can get done. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 27 May 19

Well, I managed to exceed the daily quota working on Chapter 32 of Tellus, but not by nearly enough to finish the thing. It looks like I’m going to have to postpone the chapter until next week. If I can muster the willpower to write my tail off this week, maybe I can build up the lead time I need so that this won’t happen again. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 25-26 May 19

I managed to do a little over the daily quota on Chapter 32 of Tellus on Saturday, but that was well short of the four days’ progress I needed to make up for. I then proceeded to do little over a half-day’s quota, so about two and a half days’ worth total for the week when I need to have the chapter done and out on Tuesday.

I usually like to let the manuscript sit for at least a couple days before putting it up, which may come easy if I have to postpone the release. We’ll see what happens. In any case, I’m going to stick with Tellus this week in a bid to rebuild my lead time. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 23-24 May 19

My plans to get back on the wagon haven’t been very successful. In all this week, I’ve only done any significant amount of writing in the past two days and that only amounts to one day’s quota. This is a bit of a problem as Chapter 32 of Tellus is supposed to be up Tuesday. I’m going to have to defy pretty much all recorded history and actually get a significant amount of writing done over the weekend. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 05 May 19

If I wasn’t continuing to update the main site, you may well have thought I had an even less successful reprisal of 2017’s Enoshima Incident, but, no, I just haven’t done any writing of note for the past week. (I had considered challenging the island for a rematch but didn’t end up following through on the idea.)

Although it’s not much, I did do a little writing on Chapter 32 of Tellus. I’d like to keep going, but I should probably be switching over to JJ2. Now that I’m about to be heading back to work and having a pretty full schedule, I’m probably going to get more writing done. (I always write more the less time I have to do it.) Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 25-26 Apr 19

Still inching along in Chapter 31 of Tellus. Doesn’t look like I’ll be meeting my goal, but we’re not done yet. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 23-24 Apr 19

I’ve been making some slow progress on Chapter 31 of Tellus. I’m hoping to pick up the pace to at least finish it and Chapter 32 before switching over. We’ll see. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 20 Apr 19

I did a little writing on Chapter 22 of CeleKing3 but strayed into Chapter 31 of Tellus. I’m in more of a bind in terms of lead time with the latter anyway, so I guess I’m just getting an early start on the next cycle. Maybe I just need to let CeleKing3 rest a bit until the inspiration strikes me to get me through to the end. I know the main things that have to happen. It’s just getting to those story beats that’s a problem. More to come. Stay tuned.
