Well, this hasn’t been a very productive week. At least Thursday I had the excuse of all the work it took getting the file system for the CeleKing series put together. I did make a start on turning things around to hopefully still get the weekly quota done before it’s time to switch over, making a little headway on Chapter 2 of TSoA1. We’ll see what I can accomplish. I’ve still got to get the reviews written up for today. *sigh* Stay tuned.

The main accomplishment was getting the TBP manuscript all rearranged to match the new outline, but I also wrote some reviews and made progress on Chapter 12 of CeleKing1, about enough for a day’s quota, obviously not enough for the week. As such, I’m going to extend my work on CeleKing1 into this week and then switch over to TSoA1. Speaking of TSoA1, I’m not going to start serializing it until I have at least ten chapters written, so while CeleKing1 will start its serial run next week, TSoA1 will have to wait a month or two (or three). I don’t imagine it’ll hurt anyone’s feeling too much. So, that’s the plan for the immediate future. Now, if you’ll excuse me while I grumble about my lack of a (functioning) Japanese cell phone preventing me from upgrading my limited edition SR Shiburin… Hopefully we’ll have more genuine progress to report this week. Stay tuned.

I managed to pretty well finish Chapter 1 of TSoA1. I might’ve made some progress in Chapter 2 as well, but I got sidetracked working on the genealogies. Now it’s time to switch over to TBP. We’ll see how far I can get. Stay tuned.

I made more progress on Chapter 1 of TSoA1. Another day to go before we switch over. Stay tuned.

Thanks to a road trip yesterday, I was able to make progress enough to make up for the missed days this week and then some, finishing the prologue of TSoA1 and making good headway into Chapter 1 as well. I should be able to finish Chapter 1 at least, maybe Chapter 2 as well before the week is out. Stay tuned.

I could try to use Election Day Fever as my excuse for Tuesday, but it wouldn’t fly for Monday. Well, I at least managed to focus a bit and make some progress on the prologue and Chapter 1 of TSoA1. Maybe I can pick up the pace in the coming days. Stay tuned.

I fell short of my goal. I wrote a foreword and made some progress on the prologue of TSoA1, but most of my time was spent refining the outline for the next two books and figuring out locations for the chapters. I also finished getting caught up on my backlog of reviews, so it wasn’t like I just frittered the time away. Anyway, it’s on to TBP. Stay tuned.

After missing two days, I managed to meet quota by writing some dialog for Chapters 15 and 17 of TSoA1. I haven’t been specific up until now, but the outline is pretty well set at this point. In fact, there are only a handful of chapters I haven’t written anything for yet. I need to work on actually completing chapters now and I think I’ll start by at least wrapping up the prologue before it’s time to switch over. I can make up for lost time while I’m at it. Stay tuned.

I wrote some more scattered dialog, centering on the character of Vortimer. Some interesting stuff going on there. A little under quota, but I’ll see what I can do to make up for it. Stay tuned.

So I didn’t get any writing done Monday due to my focus on a certain goal I’ll be detailing in an upcoming Rambling post. Rather than focus on a particular chapter of TSoA1, I wrote a bunch of dialog for several episodes throughout the story. I suppose I usually come up with the dialog first and then fill out the narrative, but it feels especially pronounced in this book. Anyway, more to come. Stay tuned.
