WIP Update – 09-13 May 20

I finally got through Chapter 3 of EM2 and did a little on Chapter 4 as well as I ended up shuffling around some of the content. I did say I was going to start back on KniTwi and did a few sentences on Monday before going back to EM2. Now I’ll really focus on KniTwi for a bit. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 03, 05-06 May 20

With some hiccups along the way, I continued my work on Chapter 3 of EM2. I’ve gotten some new inspiration and that’s going to help move things forward a bit. I hope to be done with the chapter by the time the week’s out. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 26-30 Apr 20

Ugh. Despite having nothing but time on my hands, I haven’t been dedicating much of that time to writing. I’ve been at an excruciatingly slow pace of a mere sentence a day on Chapter 3 of EM2. However, I’m getting to the point where my motivation to write is getting stirred up, so maybe I can turn things around. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 21-23 Apr 20

Oh, hey, I’m actually writing again. I wrapped up Chapter 5 of KniTwi and Chapter 23 of JJ2. I’ll be moving on to EM2 now. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 06-07, 10-12 Apr 20

I’ve fallen way behind but with abundantly good excuse. After a good month of bouncing back and forth, I’ve finally begun to settle into my new location. There’s been a lot of stuff to knock out, but things should calm down in the coming days.

Before I became too overwhelmed to maintain progress, I finished Chapter 22 of JJ2 and went on to do most of Chapter 23 as well. I also started in on Chapter 5 of KniTwi. Once I start writing again, I plan on wrapping up both of those chapters. From there, it’s back to EM2. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 02-05 Apr 20

I managed to more or less finish Chapter 4 of KniTwi and Chapter 2 of EM2, and then I started in on Chapter 22 of JJ2. I guess once I finish the chapter of JJ2, I’ll loop back around to KniTwi. More to come. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 29-31 Mar 20

I finished Chapter 21 of JJ2, then wrote a bit on Chapter 4 of KniTwi and Chapters 2 and 3 of EM2. All the preparations for the big move have kept me hopping, but things are starting to settle down for a bit and maybe I can start making some good progress again. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 19-20, 22-27 Mar 20

Maybe things will settle down to the point where I can take the time to make a daily note of progress instead of popping in once a week or so. I believe I’ve been saying that for a while now.

Anyway, I finished Chapter 3 of KniTwi and I was kinda working on both it and Chapter 1 of EM2 at the same time. Once those were done, I went on to Chapter 21 of JJ2. In other words, now that I’m posting my progress, it’s time to cycle back around to KniTwi. We’ll see what writing I get done in the next few days. I’m going to be a bit busy, but there’s also a fair bit of transit time where I could be productive. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 09-17 Mar 20

And here I thought I was going to start posting more frequently. I will plead the excuse that I’ve been busy going from one end of the country to the other in search of work. (I finally succeeded, so yay for that, but now I’ve got to go through all the flaming hoops of getting a new place, moving, etc., etc.)

Fortunately, all this time in transit hasn’t kept me from writing. I finished Chapter 20 of JJ2 and am currently working my way through Chapter 3 of KniTwi. I should be wrapping that up in the next day or two. More to come. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 06-08 Mar 20

I finished the prologue of EM2. I decided that a section I was going to add at the end would actually work better as the prologue for EM3.

Most of Saturday was devoted to transcribing my backlog, which included a lot of time spent calculating travel times for KniTwi. Between it and Tellus, I’m going to have to rescale my world map because the original scale resulted in unrealistic distances. Honestly, I might do well to reduce it further still, as I tend to impose some rather tough paces for my characters. I do keep it in the realm of realism, though. Even though I didn’t use as precise calculations for the KoG series, I was glad to find that I could make the times work as I’d written them for KoG1 at least. I still have to go through KoG2 and KoG3.

From Sunday I started in on Chapter 20 of JJ2. You can tell that I’m becoming increasingly Japanese in my mindset when I feel it’s necessary to have an onsen episode. I’ll be working on that a while and then it’ll be back to KniTwi. Stay tuned.
