WIP Update – 02 Oct 17

Well, you’re not going to finish a novel when you don’t do any writing at all. -_-; That’s okay, I guess. I’ll get CeleKing2 done next cycle. In the meantime, I’ve switched over to TG and made some progress in Chapter 9. If I can get one or two chapters done this week, that’d be good. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 30 Sep 17

Well, I’m not exactly going to be meeting my goal when I only get 100 words written, but so it goes. I made a little progress on Chapter 22 of CeleKing2, but depending on how tomorrow goes, I may just have to push the goal of finishing the book to the next cycle. It’ll still be sooner than I was expecting.  Well, we’ll see what I can get done. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 29 Sep 17

I finished Chapter 21 of CeleKing2 and worked a little on Chapter 22. I’d really like to finish the book this weekend, so I’m going to make a serious effort to get it done. If I’m just short, I’ll steal a little time from the next cycle. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 28 Sep 17

I’ve made some progress on Chapter 21 of CeleKing2 and should have it finished after another day’s work. I’m so close to finishing the book that if I really dedicate my time to it over the weekend, I could have it done before the handover. I may just do that. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 27 Sep 17

I’ve finished Chapter 20 of CeleKing2. Just four more chapters to go and I’ll be done. Maybe it’s just my imagination, but this book seems to have gone by fairly quickly. Of course, if I want to actually get through my backlog of stories in my lifetime, I need to average something like three or four a year. That may be a little too ambitious, but at least finishing two novels a year doesn’t seem like bad output. I doubt I’ll finish CeleKing2 this cycle, but getting it done next cycle seems highly likely. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 26 Sep 17

I finished Chapter 19 of CeleKing2 and started in on Chapter 20. At this rate, I’ll have the book done by the weekend. ^o^ Seriously, though, I should at least get two more chapters done by the handover. It won’t be much longer now. The epilogue’s already done and I have parts of 22-24 written as well. I’d say there’s somewhere between 10 and 15K more words to go. We’ll see how far I get this week. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 25 Sep 17

I finished Chapter 18 of CeleKing2 and made some progress in Chapter 19. I also made progress on an as of yet undesignated chapter of Mr. Starbrite. So, all around a good day for writing. I’m going to make an estimate that I can be finished with CeleKing2 in the next two or three cycles. Sounds nice, doesn’t it? We’ll see if my prediction is right or not. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 16-17 Sep 17

I made more progress on Chapter 9 of TG. I’ve still got a ways to go before it’ll be finished, but overall I did well above quota for the week, so that’s always encouraging. Now it’s time to move on to TBP. I only have three days of work this week, but the time off may well mean I get less writing done instead of more. We’ll see. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 15 Sep 17

I made some more progress on Chapter 9 of TG. Some new ideas have presented themselves as I’ve been working on it, but I’m also having to think a little more on how things play out from here. I don’t want the party to get too large and unwieldy. Usually 5-6 is the classic stable number if you want to give fairly even characterization, but if you don’t mind a few members fading into the background, a bigger party allows for more variety. There are times when I think I let the party get too big in KoG3 and even back when the party was half that size in KoG1, Jill had almost no characterization. Things to consider… Anyway, getting through Chapter 9 is a nice goal to set for the weekend. Let’s see if I can make it happen. Stay tuned.

WIP Update – 14 Sep 17

I finished Chapter 8 of TG and started in on Chapter 9. Don’t know if I can finish the latter by the end of the weekend, but we’ll see what I can do. Stay tuned.
