Another day, more progress on Chapter 11 of Tellus. I may not quite be making quota, but I’m doing better than I have with those miserable days of one sentence a day progress. We’ll see if I can defy the usual pattern and actually make some good headway over the weekend. Stay tuned.

I did a little work on Chapter 10 of Tellus, pretty well finishing it. I’ve got like one or two sentences left to cap it off. The objective is to get through Chapter 12 this week. Let’s see if I can get it done. (I won’t be taking my smartphone to work for one thing.) Stay tuned.

I made some progress on Chapter 10 of Tellus. Yes, you read that right. Tellus, not TG. I was wanting to finish the chapter. Still haven’t quite made it. Shoshanna is enjoying her banter with Tobias too much.

A big part of the reason I haven’t been making much progress lately is that there were two big grindfests keeping me occupied, one in CG and another in Granblue. For the latter, I was grinding for mats to get Song. The elemental quests are on two-day intervals in a twelve-day cycle, so I was waiting nine days for the opportunity to present itself and I didn’t want to wait another week a half before I could start again. The Uma Musume promotion meant half AP, so that reduced my costs, but more than Elixir Halfs, it was the time investment. And you want to know what I got for clearing Stage 3 of the upgrade chain? Even higher material requirements for Stage 4. That one will probably take two cycles, so it’ll be nearly a month before I move on to Stage 5. Whee. In the meantime, Xeno Ifrit is back in town, so I guess I can grind mats off him to get the Avenger so I can break into the Barbarian class. Ah, the joy of grind-happy JRPGs.

So, gentle reader, this is why productive writers and gamers are mutually exclusive categories. I broke with my usual practice and was bringing my smartphone to work to play my mobile games during my off time, but I think I’ll refrain this week so I might use that time for writing instead. We’ll see what it gets me. Stay tuned.

I made more measly progress on Chapter 16 of TG. The gang is probably starting to think they’ll never get out of Adom with me only writing about a sentence a day. So it goes. I may yet surprise everyone. Stay tuned.

I’ve made some minor progress on Chapter 16 of TG (by which I mean only a few sentences). It’s something, I guess. Hopefully I can pick up the pace soon, but I have my doubts. Stay tuned.
