I managed to finish up Chapter 20 of CeleKing1 and with the abundance of free time I have leading up to Monday, I stand a very good chance of finishing Chapter 21 as well, maybe even Chapter 22. We’ll see how far I can get. Stay tuned.

Now that things have settled down, I have plenty of time to write and managed to do double quota working on Chapter 20 of CeleKing1. Work starts next week, but I should still have plenty of time to write, so things are looking good on the progress front. I’m hoping to settle into the new schedule and have things run smoothly. We’ll see, though. Stay tuned.

I managed to write a little above par on Chapter 20 of CeleKing1, narrowing the overall gap. I should be able to finish this chapter (though I still don’t quite know how long it’ll turn out being) and hopefully make some decent headway into Chapter 21 before the week’s out. Stay tuned.

It’s under quota, but I did make some progress on Chapter 20 of CeleKing1. I’m just about done running errands for the week, which should translate to more time for writing. I tell ya, getting my cell phone reactivated has proven to be an enormous pain. (In retrospect, I should’ve asked to keep the SIM card they had at the Tokyo-eki Soft Bank and then just had them finish the proceedings at one of the locations here.) Well, hopefully I can get my running around knocked out early and spend a nice leisurely afternoon writing. Stay tuned.

Amid all the craziness of getting adjusted to life in Japan again, going through my preliminary training, moving into my new place, and crashing out pretty much whenever I’m not on the clock, I somehow managed to make some more progress on Chapter 20 of CeleKing1. As my translation project will be ending as of Monday morning, I think I’m going to give CeleKing1 an extra week before switching over. Unless I’m called up to do some sub work, next week may well prove to be pretty chill. If I’m not working, I do intend to do a fair bit of exploring in my new area, about as much as my legs can handle. I’ve already got the basics covered, but I’d like to cast the net a little wider. I’d also like avoid too many more expenses until my first paycheck comes in, so I may well find myself spending a fair bit of time here in the apartment writing. We’ll see what happens. Stay tuned.

I spent most of my plane ride watching movies and trying to catch up on my translation project, but I did write a paragraph of Chapter 20 of CeleKing1. Definitely not quota, but maybe when things settle down and I get my translation work caught up, I can afford to write some more. I do want to browse around Tokyo while I’m here, so I may not do all that much until after I’ve settled into my new location. The translation project will be ending this weekend, but then my new job starts. I don’t think I have to worry about taking my work home with me like when I was teaching at college, so that should mean my off-hours are my own. And without much else to occupy my free time, I imagine I can get a lot of writing done over the next year (or longer if things go well). Stay tuned.

I’ve made more progress in Chapter 16 of TBP, not quite making quota, but I was on the road most of the day Thursday, there’s a lot of family activities going on, I’m having to hastily make preparations for my departure for Japan on Monday, I’m trying to get a new laptop set up, and there’s still my translation project to consider, so it’s a wonder I’ve gotten anywhere at all. You may not hear of much else for a couple days, though, but we’ll see. Stay tuned.

I managed to wrap up Chapter 15 of TBP and started in on Chapter 16. Things are moving along nicely, but I need to buckle down on my translation again. I’m starting to slip behind again. All things to work on. Stay tuned.

I made more progress on Chapter 15 of TBP. I’d say I should have the chapter done in another day or two. Stay tuned.

Having to sacrifice story progress to get caught up on my translation project, TSoA1 is getting the short end of the stick once again, but now that I’m where I need to be in my translations, I’ve been able to afford some time for writing. It’s not fair to TSoA1, I know, but I went ahead and switched over to TBP and made some progress on Chapter 15. I made quota, but I don’t think I can afford much more beyond that except for Thursday, when I’ll be on the road. I should get at least two chapters done before the week’s out. Stay tuned.
