Attack on Titan - Volume 6 (2011)

Author/Artist: Hajime Isayama
Publisher: KC Magazine

Synopsis:
The brutal Female Titan is tearing through the Survey Corps' formation in search of Eren. As she closes in, Eren must decide whether to rely on his own power or trust his comrades.

Story/Characters:
There are two main threads to this volume: Armin and company having a close encounter with the Female Titan from the outskirts of the formation and Squad Levi, corresponding to Episodes 17 to 19 in the series. Both are good, but I particularly like the development of Eren's relationship with Squad Levi. The Female Titan is also an intriguing character with her cruelty and intelligence that far outstrip anything we've seen so far.

Art:
This volume has some of the most dramatic sequences of the series thus far. A lot of powerful imagery that goes along with the Female Titan's attack.

Conclusion:
Things are ramping up nicely in this one and is sure to keep you glued to the pages. I definitely recommend it.
