Synopsis:
Two rival figure skaters banned from competing discover a loophole that allows them to participate in pairs skating, but they only have a short time to overcome their differences to challenge the leading pairs team.
Impressions:
If you're familiar with the comedic sensibilities of other Frat Pack films, then you should have a good idea of what to expect here in terms of tone and content. The parody of figure skating, and especially the media portrayal of figure skating, has decent edge to it, and Will Ferrell and Jon Heder play off each other fairly well with Craig T Nelson as the straight man in between (no pun intended). If you like Frat Pack humor, this should do well by you, but it's far from the best of these offerings, so it may fall well short of a straight 6.0 in the scoring. Take it or leave it.
