Synopsis:
A woman murders her wealthy twin sister and attempts to take her place.
Impressions:
A fly pretends to be a spider and gets trapped in the web. That's a pretty good description of this movie. There's a good setup that leads to strong tension throughout as our lead not only has to avoid the consequences of her own wrongdoing but also that of the person whose place she took. Besides Bette Davis' fine performance as the lead, Karl Malden is also quite good as her detective boyfriend. It's a good crime story and I recommend it.
