The Killer Shrews (1959)

Synopsis:
A ship captain delivering supplies to a lab on a remote island becomes trapped as the facility is besieged by overgrown mutant shrews.

Impressions:
This is a rather forgettable 50s creature flick that is probably only notable for getting the MST3K treatment. I did think it was fairly neat how they dressed up dogs as the shrews for the longer shots to give them more naturalistic movement than the terrible puppets. There's really nothing to recommend here. Pass on it.
