Director: Mirai Minato
Studio: Silver Link

After being defeated, the Demon Lord's second-in-command finds herself depowered and trapped in the human world, forced to live as an impoverished part-timer as she seeks the fragments of the magic stone that will restore her powers and the Demon World.
Impressions:
The basic premise here is similar to The Devil is a Part-Timer!, but there's a stronger comedic bent and it's more of a morality play where the proud and cruel Jahy has to learn humility and compassion. Having her spend most of her time in child form is an easy way to target the audience's sympathy and to make her antics appear more humorous than obnoxious. Despite what you might think based on Jahy's costume in her adult form, there isn't much of a focus on fanservice and most everything is fairly innocent. The supporting cast is rather good and play off Jahy in amusing ways. As this is mostly slice-of-life, the main focus is funny little episodes of Jahy's trials and travails and comparatively little time is devoted to moving the overall plot forward. Even when we do move things forward, it mostly just reinforces the status quo, which isn't necessarily a problem if you understand what you're in for. I found it to be an enjoyable watch and would recommend you giving it a shot too.
