Impressions:
Given how Japanese-Korean relations are rather sour recently, it's a little surprising to see a collaboration like this, but I'm not going to complain. If you like flashy, stylized action, you should enjoy this. There's a pretty good dynamic going with the main power trio, but characterization is a bit thin for the rest of the cast. There's clearly a lot going on under the hood, but we don't get the context for a lot of it. I don't necessarily mind leaving a fair bit up to the audience's inference, but some people might find the storytelling a bit obtuse. Then again, you may be asking why anyone's worrying about the depth of plot and characterization when the main attraction is supposed to be the action. This is a pretty good tournament fighter and if you have any interest is such things, you'll probably enjoy this as much as I did. Give it a watch.
