Black Moon Rising (1986)
Director: Harley Cokeliss
Starring: Tommy Lee Jones, Linda Hamilton, Robert Vaughn
Synopsis:
A thief steals a data type from the FBI and hides it in a prototype car, which is then stolen. He must then track down the car thief before facing heat from his handlers.
Impressions:
This movie is pretty mediocre, but it's interesting seeing Tommy Lee Jones play a guile hero and Linda Hamilton and Robert Vaughn deliver solid performances as the car thief Nina and her possessive employer. The story was written by John Carpenter, which may account for a measure of the entertainment value to be had. If any of the major players in the cast are enough of a draw for you, this may be worth your time.
