Synopsis:
Struggling with the trauma of the battle with Sylvia, Kazuma vows to give up adventuring.

Impressions:
It's been seven years since Season 2, six since the movie, and while we did have the Megumin spinoff last year (which I need to get around to seeing), we're finally back to the main storyline, picking up where the movie left off. Now, I'd played the Konosuba mobile game for a while, so I was happy to see Princess Iris' introduction into the main story. This season ha a lot of focus on Darkness and we see that when she's in her element among polite society, she's surprisingly competent (until her companions drive her crazy with their usual antics). I won't say this season hits some of the same high notes we've seen up until now, but this is apparently an adaptation of a stretch of the story that dips a bit in the opinion of fans. That being said, it's still an enjoyable romp and well worth a watch at the very least.
