Synopsis:
Catarina thinks she has avoided all the death flags that threatened her, but now she finds herself not knowing what awaits her.

Impressions:
I enjoyed the first season, so I was more than happy to check out the second, but I thought the story was pretty well told and there wasn't much to work with now that Catarina is no longer bound by the plot of Fortune Lover. As you might expect, the plot feels a little rudderless here as we don't have a clear goal to work toward. However, if you like the characters, just seeing them interact could be enough. The final kidnapping arc felt the most focused and the end sets us up with a more concrete concept for the story's further continuation. If you're interested in the relationships around Catarina, her suitors start to become bolder this season, so there's that. Weaknesses in the plot aside, I found this a fairly enjoyable watch and I think fans of the first season will enjoy it as well.
