Another Man's Poison (1951)

Another Man's Poison (1951)

Director: Irving Rapper
Starring: Bette Davis, Gary Merrill, Emlyn Williams

Synopsis:
A man poses as the husband of a mystery writer after he learns she murdered her real husband, his partner in crime.

Impressions:
The idea of a mystery writer committing murder is cool (in fiction at least, less so for real life). Someone who devotes so much time and energy into coming up with creative ways to kill people is bound to come up with something interesting. It's really cool to watch Bette Davis and Gary Merrill do their little dance of death with each other. It gets pretty vicious, but I suppose that's only to be expected in a game where death is on the line. It's worth seeing, so give it a watch.
