Odd Thomas (2013)

Synopsis:
A young man who can see the dead and predict tragedies must try to prevent a slaughter in his hometown.

Impressions:
This isn't a particularly large budget film (which shows with the effects), but it's a neat little story with good characters. The fact that Odd's premonitions only give him a limited glimpse into the future keeps you guessing on the nature of the coming calamity. I particularly liked the dynamic between Odd and Stormy, which was rather sweet. It's a nice little off-kilter paranormal mystery and well worth watching.
