Impressions:
I rather liked the first Maze Runner, so imagine my disappointment given how much I hate The Scorch Trials. I honestly wasn't interested in seeing this film, but because it was made conveniently available to me, I gave it a shot to round out the trilogy. I'll tell you, I was surprised at how much I liked it. This is a solid film. Some argue it's the best in the trilogy. It doesn't have the novelty of the original, but it's a good closing to the overall story. There are some good action set pieces and the character drama works fairly well too. If The Scorch Trials turned you off to the series, I'd say give this one a shot. There's a good chance it'll leave you with a much better impression.
