A Bucket of Blood (1959)

A Bucket of Blood (1959)

Director: Roger Corman
Starring: Dick Miller, Barboura Morris, Antony Carbone

Synopsis:
A busboy with artistic ambitions finds fame when he begins encasing the dead in clay.

Impressions:
This is hardly the first movie about a killer artist, but this is quite entertaining due to Dick Miller's strong performance as the somewhat simple-minded and increasingly deranged Walter Paisley and the lampooning of pretentious beatniks. Being a Roger Corman film, it was made on a really low budget, but that doesn't hurt it much. It's by no means a great film, but it's worth watching.
