Synopsis:
Violet is assigned to write a love letter for an opera singer to a lover who never returned from the war.

Impressions:
This was released a few months after the main series ended and I apparently missed it somehow. No time like the present to tie up loose ends, right? This may feel a little odd coming on the heels of the season finale, but it does tie into a lot of the themes of the story. Irma's loss parallels Violet's, and through helping Irma, Violet learns a little bit about moving forward on her own behalf. It's a solid episode in the vein of the main series and any fan won't want to pass this up. I'm glad I finally went back to pick it up myself.
