Synopsis:
The scattered members of Team RWBY come back together at Haven to defend the school's Relic from Salem's forces.

Impressions:
As teased in the OP, the reunion of Team RWBY is much welcome, even if it takes the entire season to come to pass. There are plenty of crowd-pleasing moments, but from my observation of fan responses, this season seems a bit divisive being heavy on exposition and comparatively light on action. While we get a few good fight sequences, we also have some weak choreography in places, which really highlights the absence of Monty's direction, something I really didn't notice as much in the previous season. There are also points where the scripting can be awkward, not that this is necessarily something all that new to the series. There's certainly enough here to make the season worth watching, but I'm hoping for things to be tightened up a bit for a more dynamic and compelling experience next season.
