Impressions:
With so many isekai stories these days, it's almost refreshing to come across a straight-up fantasy. This series has fun with a lot of fantasy tropes, especially those of JRPGs, which adds to the enjoyment for fans of those things. The househunting premise provides the excuse to explore the world and give something of a travelogue overview. The weak and cowardly Letty works well as the butt of most of the jokes, but he's also a genuinely kind person who is slowly but surely growing over the course of his travels. The deadpan Dearia serves as a nice anchor for Letty and later he gains other companions that help foster further growth (and further comedy). Elements of actual real estate and medieval history lend some depth to the material, but at its core, this is just some nice, easygoing light viewing that makes for a simple, pleasant experience. It won't ever get your blood pumping, but if you're looking for something to cool down with, this is definitely worth giving a shot.
