Synopsis:
A month after the Soara incident, Chaika, Toru and Akari find another one of the Eight Heroes holding part of the remains of Emperor Gaz.

Impressions:
If it wasn't for the new subtitle, I wouldn't think to treat this as a second season, but maybe it's in the first half's favor that this is separated off. Overall, I still enjoyed this, but the ending was rushed and not quite as satisfying as I would've hoped. I did like how we opened with Lady Claudia, who was an aversion to what we'd seen so far from the Eight Heroes. King Stephan had promise, but I wasn't happy with how that turned out. While this was more of a mixed bag than the first half, it's still worth a watch, I'd say, though my recommendation isn't as strong this time around.
