Synopsis:
A young man with a cursed skill stumbles upon a sword that amplifies his curse while opening up a self-destructive road to great power.

Impressions:
The idea of acquiring power at a cost is nothing new, nor is playing up the Seven Deadly Sins for thematic purposes, but if you manage to sympathize with Fate, our protagonist, and you connect with his dynamic with his cursed sword Greed, then this is a fairly serviceable series. The characters are decent and the skill system along with Greed's evolutions are fairly interesting if you're the sort to latch onto mechanics. It's nothing amazing on any level, but at least for me, there were no particular points that really annoyed or disappointed me, so while I'm not all that enthusiastic about this, its general competence edges it over the line to recommend it for a watch.
