Synopsis:
After a girl goes missing, the police's investigation points to a family of eccentrics.

Impressions:
I didn't know what I was getting into with this, but I was pleasantly surprised with what I got. I wasn't aware of the Carry On series, but I hear that this may be one of the best of the many movies they made (it was at least the best selling of the bunch). Basically, imagine a Hammer horror crossed with a bit of The Addams Family. It's not quite as absurd as Monty Python or the Goodies, but it's still a good screwball comedy. I particularly liked Harry Corbett as Detective Bung, Kenneth Williams as Dr. Watt and Fenella Fielding as Valeria. Dr. Who fans may like the fact that the Third Doctor John Pertwee has a small role as Dr. Fettle. This is a fun, quirky movie and I highly recommend watching it.
