First in the World

'The people cry out and the Twelve have heard their cry. And so with each waxing of the moon, twelve shall come, a host of heroes to fight against the horrors of the deep, until one shall rise, the Brave, who shall reach out with a mighty hand and seize the Root of All Evil and tear it out, that peace may reign in the World.'

The prophecy of Horvath the Wise would change the World. The great powers came together and a High King was crowned to unite the People of the World in anticipation of the heroes to come. Little did they expect that these heroes would be mere children, but each month when the Ides would come, more would arrive, and as they were trained it became clear that secreted away within them was a power beyond anything the People of the World were capable of. Could one of these prove to be the Brave who would be their savior?

This is the story of how the Game began and the trials and travails of the first Summoned. How will they rise to meet the dangers of a hostile World? How will they blaze the trail for the generations to come? How far will they make it in the Trials before their adventure comes to a bitter end?
