Volume II: The Rise of Arthur

The child Arthur is raised in secret under the tutelage of Merlin, not that he would fulfill his purpose for the Faerie King but that he might forge his own path. By defying the Faerie King, Merlin puts both himself and Arthur in danger. Both the Faerie King's agents and countless human foes work against them and the higher Arthur's star rises, the greater his peril. Though Arthur claims the title of King of the Britons, can he keep it?
