Soldiers of Misfortune

Reynaldo's Raiders are the most pathetic excuse for a mercenary band in the whole Continent, narrowly surviving from one battle to the next by the skin of their teeth. When their captain falls in battle, a two-bit swindler is put in charge as possibly the least incompetent of the lot. In his quest for a quick bit of coin, he and the whole band find themselves stuck in the middle of a conflict unlike any they have experienced before. This time, they might actually be playing to win, if they can only stay alive.
