In a world where the power of the old pagan gods is waning, Oberon the Faerie King seeks to stake his claim. His meticulously crafted plot has found a new pawn in the Elven exile Amendil, who comes to our world by a name you know well. Merlin. He is sent to isle of Britannia, where Rome's grip fails and a dozen petty kings carve out their meager territories. Among all these petty kings, Merlin must sow the seed of the promised King of the Britons.
