Urrip, or 'Earp' as his captain calls him, is a simple pirate. Such is the fate of most of his kind. Mere cannon fodder for the humans. No place to call home. Forced to wander, to lie, cheat, steal, and kill just get from one day to the next. All that changes when he falls into the hands of the Empire. Now he is a prisoner, a lab rat, his life even more hellish than before. Can he find a way out or is he doomed to die a test subject for the hated humans?
