Synopsis:
The newly crowned Emperor seeks out the aid of the mystical Raven Consort to resolve problems in the palace of a supernatural nature.

Impressions:
The prospect of a Chinese-style courtly drama-romance with a supernatural twist was enough to catch my interest and the character of Shouxue gave me all the reason I needed to stick around. I liked her tsundere relationship with the Emperor and her character arc of learning to come out of her isolation to accept people around her. The supernatural investigations are fairly interesting, little stories of tragedy told in a storybook style. It's not a detective story or anything, so don't expect that much legwork to go into solving the mysteries. If any of this sounds like your cup of tea, you're in for a pretty good watch, so give it a shot.
