Synopsis:

Impressions:
With the addition of the Kagejitsu cast, I was looking forward to this season a bit. I hope you're not much of a Cautious Hero fan, because Seiya and Ristarte get shuffled off the stage right away. While the two of them had some comedic potential, the cast is already bloated as it is. I think we've reached the point where things have gotten rather unwieldy, but because this isn't that heavily plot- or character-driven, it's less of a problem than it would be for a series with a more serious story. We still get some decent set pieces, but we also get gags that get dragged out too long in the limited runtime we have available. (The Motoyasu ep whiffed pretty hard for me, for instance.) I'm tempted to ding this season for coming up short, but I'm going to just narrowly pass it as being worth a watch. (The half-length episodes do make it a lot easier to make the time commitment, after all.)
