Synopsis:
After surviving their encounter with the White Clad in the Nether, Company 8 prepares for the next round of attacks and investigates deeper into the truth behind the Evangelist.

Impressions:
As noted in my review of the previous season, I was looking forward to the series' continuation and this definitely delivered. Besides having training arcs for Shinra and Arthur, we get to interact with the other companies more and dig deeper into the mysteries of the world. I particularly liked the expedition to the mainland as it provided an opportunity for younger members of the Fire Force to shine. We get a number of really big action set pieces that are sure to please the core demographic and the stakes are escalating and a decent pace so that things ramp up without threatening to get too ridiculous. Things get set up nicely for the next stage of the story, so I'm once again all ready and raring to go for a continuation. In the meantime, go ahead and get this for your collection.
