Impressions:
I was fairly lukewarm about the first season of this series. The concept was interesting enough, but I wasn't much of a fan of the characters. Well, this season adds to the problems and no longer has the element of novelty on its side. New addition Kenta proves to be a stupid meathead who's as much of a drag on the party as the other three loads. At least the sixth party member Glen proves to be more useful when she's introduced for the subsequent quest, but that quest proves to be more garbage than the one that came before it. There are some interesting ideas that get touched on, such as humanizing the Orcs from the island quest a bit and introducing the Dragon Bishops as a recurring antagonistic force, but there's only so much a person can take of garbage players and even more garbage NPCs. This proved to be another chore viewing from a season where I should've dropped about half the shows I was watching. I want to just tell you to skip it, but there are a few elements that just barely might prove to be enough to make the experience worthwhile. Take it or leave it (though I'm inclined to recommend the latter).
