Impressions:
You know, these random mashups on Youtube have led me to all sorts of series. It only took about a minute of this series' quirkiness to get me interested and I marathoned it all in one go. Most Japanese romcoms take forever to get our leads to 1) recognize their feelings, and 2) actually confess those feeling. Here, however, we get a confession in Episode 1 and the series is more about these two antisocial characters trying to understand what their feelings actually mean and what friendship is all about. We've got the the great contrast of the wild Haru and the nearly robotic Shizuku with a good supporting cast to round things out. It's fun watching them develop. I enjoyed it quite a bit and can easily recommend giving it a watch.
