Director: Kinji Yoshimoto
Studio: Asread
Starring: Keisuke Komoto, Azusa Tadokoro, Kanae Iwasaki
Episodes: 1
Synopsis:
When Raul's sister comes to the capital to visit him, he convinces his friends and co-workers to put on a show to convince her that he is still working as a hero.
Impressions:
Combine an onsen episode and a deceive the naive relative plot and you've got pretty much everything you need to understand this OAV. As the main series didn't really hold back on the ecchi factor, you're not going to feel like you're getting that much of an extra helping if that's what you're looking for. I'd almost dismiss this out of hand, but I do like the lengths Raul goes to for the sake of the image his sister has of him and how the gang all comes together to help. (And there is one moment that could be huge if followed up on, but I highly doubt that happens.) If you're expecting the material to be elevated above what we got in the main series, you're barking up the wrong tree, but if you liked the main series for what it was, you'll get more of it. Take it or leave it.
