Impressions:
We get the payoff for the setup from the previous season. Wash's heel turn mixes things up a bit, but we still get him being flustered by the idiocy around him, which makes for good comedy. A significant development this season is the debut of fully animated sequences with fight choreography by Monty Oum. For anyone familiar with Oum's work, you have some idea of what to look forward to. There are two big beautiful fight scenes to be had, teasing of things to come in future seasons. Speaking of future seasons, much like Season 5, this arc ends on a note that could actually serve as the series finale and overriding it actually serves to provide some in-universe angst. This one definitely belongs in the collection.
