Impressions:
I probably wouldn't have sought this out on my own, but my folks put it on one day and it was better than I was expecting. I haven't really seen Jerry Seinfeld in much since the show about nothing. There are a number of folks in the comic circles I wasn't exactly enthusiastic to see, and you may not be all that happy to see them either, but everyone was more or less tolerable. This parody of the Space Race is a funny concept and there's some fun bits of 60s pop culture mixed in, which I'm sure is in part drawn from Seinfeld's own childhood. The J6 parody is sure to age like milk, which may be appropriate in a movie about cereal companies. Besides Seinfeld's performance, I really liked Hugh Grant as Thurl Ravenscroft, Kyle Dunnigan as Walter Cronkite and Bill Burr as JFK. Of the two gremlin children, Eleanor Sweeney had some pretty good comedic timing and may be one to keep an eye on in the future if she continues her acting career. This is by no means a great film, but it was amusing enough to warrant a watch, so consider giving it a shot.
