The Prophecy: Forsaken (1995)
Director: Joel Soisson
Starring: Boris Petroff, Kari Wuhrer, Daria Ciobanu
Synopsis:
Allison continues to protect the manuscript of prophecy and is targeted by an undead assassin in the employ of rogue angels.
Impressions:
If you liked Uprising, there may be just enough here to keep you going. If, however, you didn't like Uprising, then you probably don't care about Allison's story and don't want to bother with this. In case you were wondering about the release date, in Roger Corman fashion, both films were shot at the same time. Saves money, you know. I did like having Tony Todd as the villain this time around, but you're not going to find "Stark" listed in Gustav Davidson's A Dictionary of Angels (my go-to source for basic angelology/demonology, by the by). The movie's nothing to write home about, but it wasn't awful either. Unless you're a completionist, you can pass on this one with little no effect.
