Impressions:
I hadn't heard anything good about this movie and I wasn't expecting much. I don't think my expectations were low enough. A direct-to-video sequel to a so-so movie doesn't inspire much confidence. In terms of production quality, this is only about TV grade. The actors manage to deliver decent enough performances, but there's not much quality material to work with. The movie really has little connection to the original, going for an outright psychic rather than the neural link technology. The original at least had some imaginative visuals going for it, but this film doesn't even have that. It tries for some stylistic cinematography, but it's not enough to impress. The killer was at least kind of interesting. That's something but not much. Spare yourself and pass on this one.
