Wolf (1994)

Synopsis:
An editor is bitten by a werewolf and the curse starts to take control of him.

Impressions:
This is somewhat unique or at least rare among werewolf films in that it's less of a creature feature than it is an exploration of a character becoming more and more feral with both the positive and the negative it brings. To that end, if you're expecting full-bore horror, you're going to be disappointed. If you get invested in Jack Nicholson's character, though, it's a pretty rewarding movie. His performance is complemented well by Michelle Pfeiffer and James Spader. I'll admit that I was hopeful for a transformation sequence, but it was not to be, alas. I say it's worth a watch. Give it a shot.
