Synopsis:
A couple of Chicago detectives travel to Jerusalem accompanying the body of a murdered rabbi, unaware that the case actually involves the harbinger of Satan.

Impressions:
This is the last film released by the Cannon Group. Depending on your tastes, this may be a bittersweet landmark. Firewalker at least had great chemistry between Chuck Norris and Louis Gossett Jr. as its main charm point, but the same can't be said of Norris and co-star Calvin Levels. It's little more than basic salt-and-pepper buddy cop schtick. At least Norris' character has a cool name. Frank Shatter. Heh. Christopher Neame is fairly hammy as Lockley, a.k.a. the Prosatanos, but I wish he'd either played up the ham more or made a genuinely intimidating villain. Fans of Walker, Texas Ranger may like that Norris plays opposite Sheree J Wilson (and, shoot, they should've just had Clarence Gilyard Jr. play the partner instead of Levels). You may be interested in the fact that the film was shot on location in Israel, but maybe not. There really isn't anything all that worthwhile here. The story, characters and action are nothing to write home about. Unless you're a completionist for Cannon Group or Chuck Norris films, skip this one.
