Die Hard 2 (1990)

Impressions:
Among Die Hard fans, there's apparently some dispute on whether 2 or 3 is the better movie. I lean toward 3 myself but 2 is still a solid successor to the original. William Sadler as Colonel Stuart continues the tradition of smart antagonists for McClane while also presenting more of a physical challenge as well. Then you've got Dennis Franz as the obstructive bureaucrat and Fred Thompson as the reasonable authority figure on the airport side. Cameos worth mentioning are Jason Patrick as one of the enemy goons (before he gained fame as the T-1000) and Colm Meaney as an airline pilot.
There's good action to be had and some decent twists along the way. It's worth seeing, so see it.
