Synopsis:
A trail guide leads freedmen West while being pursued by nightriders seeking to drive them back to the plantation.

Impressions:
This is less of a blaxploitation film set in the Old West as Take a Hard Ride, but it nevertheless has some blaxploitation elements. Sidney Poitier is reliably solid, but the real showstealer is Harry Belafonte as the Preacher. It's a pretty solid film and if you're looking for a Western with a focus on black characters, this is a good choice. Give it a watch.
